Hello, Mark. It was very fine meeting your this weekend at Kate Wolf fest........ the music and conversation were much enjoyed. I notice that you did some work with La Mama Etc, and wonder if that has anything to do with Cafe La Mama? I was in a production in the early '70 of a Tom Paine, which was a La Mama piece by Paul Foster... we were the west coast premiere. No biggie, but it seems that you and I have lots of material with which to shoot the proverbial shit. Hope our paths cross again. Michael Hubbert

Enjoyed the 5:00 pm show immensely on Sunday. Glad we were able to bond with you all the way up there on the stage and me all the way down there in the audience. I told my older son that he and his girl friend need to see the show and he added it to his calendar. Will send a message out to others, but if a father can't influence his son (who rarely listens to him), then who can he convince? Good luck with the run and hope you get extended.

Hey Mark -- it's one of the double Ericas from the 10/1 Lowell show. I've been listening to the CD ever since and like it a lot. There's no apparent place on the site to join your mailing list; if you have one, can you add me? :-) thanks and best wishes!

what is maheena? what is a comprehensivist? it's true, i came to your website
kate is such a musical freak. today she picked up the banjo and i the ukelele and we did a version of cleopatra that was gah'geous. told her she's not allowed to come over anymore unless the recording equipment is set up.
10 days at the retreat...and the songs started taking over after day 4, says your webpage...know how far the space between 10 and 4 is? that reminds me, i updated the karma song a bit...let's see, i jotted it down in walden...
by the way, having this window open is absolutely amazing. too bad there are rats otherwise i'd keep it open all night. sorry that you will have to reconnect speakers and install soundproofing...but, by the way you carried the piano bench back to 414 so graciously, something tells me you won't mind terribly.
now, for the lyrics:
you'll never pay more than you owe
life has this funny tape that's lettin karma roll
you'll never pay as much as owe
mind has a lovely way of lettin sorrow go
but, you know, it's all flexible.
